The member beat Joel Ramírez on the first playoff hole at the Vallromanes Golf Club

Javier Aldamíz-Echevarria, a member of the RCGP, won the II National Men’s Mid Amateur Ranking Championship with a total of 145 strokes, 71 (-1) on the first day’s card and 74 strokes to finish the second day. After the completion of both laps, Javier Aldamiz-Echevarría and Joel Ramírez arrived and finished the day tied on blows. A fact that has led the competition to the playoffs, opting in favor of Aldamiz-Echevarría on the first playoff hole.

After completing two of the three scoring tests, Javier Aldamiz-Echevarria is in 2nd position in the Ranking with 30 points, 11 behind the 1st classified, Miguel Díaz-Negrete Palacio. The last test of the II Qualifying will take place at the Real Club Sevilla Golf from May 25 to 27, 2023.
